Thomas C. Naquin

Thomas C. Naquin is a partner at Bonnecaze McKernan and practices in the area of commercial litigation.  Thomas represents clients in various commercial matters including contract negotiation and litigation, business disputes, unfair trade practices, construction litigation, lease disputes, and landlord/tenant disputes.  He represents clients in Louisiana state and federal courts and in arbitration proceedings.  Thomas also has experience with master service agreements with a focus on risk, loss allocation, indemnity, and insurance.

He also advises clients on electronic discovery, electronically stored information (ESI), and retention and destructive policies.  Thomas grew up in Denham Springs and attended LSU for both undergraduate and law school.

    • Representation of owner of industrial facility in multi-million-dollar payment dispute with mechanical contractor arising out of maintenance turnaround.
    • Representation of industrial contractor in payment dispute with owner of industrial facility, including preservation and enforcement of liens under the Louisiana Private Works Act and collection on unpaid invoices. 
    • Representation of manufacturing facility in nuisance dust lawsuit brought by adjacent property owner.
    • Representation of owner of industrial facility in multi-million-dollar construction dispute involving project impact claims, including delay claim and loss of productivity claim. 
    • Representation of chemical manufacturer in obtaining emergency temporary restraining order against terminated employee.
    • Representation of commercial contractor in collection on unpaid invoices with various commercial property owners.
    • Representation of residential property owner in dispute with contractor over defective work and property damage.
